Clear aligners at Beausourire Cabinet Dentaire

Dr. Babaammi Menoubia has offered clear aligners at the practice since 2022 and completed certified training in clear aligners in 2024. Beausourire works with more than one brand, Invisalign among them, and you can ask at the examination which one will be used for you. Treatment starts with an in-person examination that tells you whether aligners suit your case.

Who treats
Dr. Babaammi Menoubia. The 3D treatment plan is prepared with a colleague who practices orthodontics.
Scan
Intraoral scan (Medit i500) on the day of the first consultation.
3D simulation
A video of the planned result, sent to you before you commit.
First aligners
Possible in about 8 days after the scan, on an express timeline. Fitted at the practice.
Wear time
22 hours a day, out only for meals and brushing.
Aligner changes
Every 10 to 15 days, as prescribed.
Check-ups
At the practice about every 6 months, with follow-up between visits by WhatsApp photos and video call.
Typical length
Simple case 4 to 9 months, moderate 9 to 18, complex 18 to 24. Estimated after the examination.
Ages treated
Teenagers and adults.
  • Before you start: an exam with photos of your face and teeth, X-rays (taken outside the practice), treatment of any decay or tartar, then a written quote.
  • Depending on the case, the plan can add attachments, enamel reduction (stripping), elastics and finishing aligners.
  • Often treated: teeth that moved again after earlier orthodontic treatment, mild to moderate crowding, gaps to close, and some moderate bite problems after assessment.
  • A fuller assessment or another option may be needed when the plan involves extractions, when 22-hour wear is hard to keep up, when decay or gum problems need treating first, or with a marked mismatch between the upper and lower jaws.
  • Retention afterwards: a bonded wire behind the teeth, a clear retainer, or both. The clear retainer is worn day and night for 6 months, then only at night.
  • Dr. Babaammi asks every patient for very good oral hygiene, care when putting aligners in and taking them out, and keeping to the wear time.

Veneers at Beausourire Cabinet Dentaire

Ceramic veneers in e.max ceramic (lithium disilicate). Dr. Babaammi Menoubia holds a certificate in aesthetic ceramic veneers (2021) and a dental aesthetics academy diploma (2016).

  • The first step is an examination to check whether your teeth suit veneers or whether other treatment comes first. Preparing the enamel cannot be undone, so the decision comes after it.
  • Usually at least two visits, with the lab work in between. Impressions are conventional or digital (intraoral scanner), and temporaries may protect the prepared teeth.
  • Depending on the case, aligners are used first to prepare the teeth for veneers.
  • Also offered: removable veneers (Snap-on smile), which clip over the teeth with no preparation, and a smile makeover (“Hollywood smile”) with veneers on several visible teeth, sometimes crowns.
  • For patients abroad, the price is set after the examination at the practice.

Dental implants at Beausourire Cabinet Dentaire

Implants are decided after an examination, a panoramic X-ray and often a 3D scan (cone beam). The implant is placed under local anesthetic.

  • Several appointments over a few months: examination, placement, check-up, reopening the gum if needed, impression, then the crown.
  • Healing usually takes 3 to 8 months before the final crown in the conventional approach.
  • Patients abroad should plan at least two stays, one for the implant and one for the crown, and ask for the implant card or traceability labels.
  • Depending on the case, aligners can first move drifted teeth back before an implant.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make an appointment with Dr. Babaammi Menoubia?
Call Beausourire Cabinet Dentaire at +213 557 19 87 50, send a WhatsApp message or visit the practice website to ask questions or book.
Does Dr. Babaammi Menoubia offer clear aligners?
Yes. Beausourire Cabinet Dentaire offers clear aligners (Invisalign and other brands).
What languages are spoken at Beausourire Cabinet Dentaire?
The team speaks French, Arabic, Algerian Arabic (Darja), Tamazight (Kabyle) and English.
Can I have aligner treatment at Beausourire if I live abroad?
Yes. Some of the practice's patients who live abroad are already in aligner treatment at Beausourire. A first quote and an approximate length can be worked out before you travel, from photos and a panoramic X-ray; the final quote follows the examination at the practice. The examination, the fitting of the first aligners and the end of treatment take place at the practice: treatment started in Algeria cannot be done entirely at a distance.
What if I lose or break an aligner while abroad?
Go back to the previous aligner and tell the practice. A new one is made and sent to you within about 7 days.
What happens at the first consultation?
It can take place at the practice in Bab Ezzouar or online. In person, your teeth and gums are examined first. You then hear which options suit your case, with the benefits and limits of each, or which tests are needed before deciding. If you need treatment, its stages and price are set out before anything starts, and then you decide.
I live abroad. How do I plan a visit?
Arrange the appointment by phone or WhatsApp on +213 557 19 87 50 before you book your flights, and say how long you will be in Algeria. The number of visits depends on the treatment: implants and orthodontics generally need several trips.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
Call +213 557 19 87 50 or send a WhatsApp message describing what is happening. If breathing, speaking, swallowing or opening the mouth becomes hard, or the swelling reaches the eye, go straight to the nearest hospital emergency department.
