About these terms

These terms apply when you use vwellny.com. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Vwellny. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle information. Clinics that join Vwellny also have an agreement with us. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement applies to the clinic.

What Vwellny is

Vwellny is a directory of dental clinics, with general guides to dental care. Clinics in each city appear in alphabetical order. The directory isn’t a ranking and doesn’t include every dentist in an area.

Not medical advice

Everything on this site is general information. It isn’t a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and it doesn’t replace an exam by a licensed dentist. Results vary from person to person. Talk to a licensed dentist about your own situation before you decide on treatment.

If you have a dental or medical emergency, contact a dentist or call 911 or your local emergency number.

No dentist-patient relationship

Vwellny doesn’t provide dental care. Using the site or emailing us doesn’t create a dentist-patient relationship with Vwellny or with any listed clinic. A relationship with a clinic starts only when you and that clinic agree to it.

Clinics are independent

Listed clinics are independent businesses. They aren’t our employees, agents or partners. Each clinic is responsible for the care it gives, its staff, its prices, and the claims on its profile and on its own website.

Choosing a clinic is your decision. We don’t advise you on which clinic to choose. Each dentist is licensed in the country where they practice, and that country’s law applies to treatment there.

We don’t arrange treatment, travel or payments

Vwellny doesn’t book appointments, give quotes, arrange travel or accommodation, or take or hold payments for treatment. Any agreement about treatment is between you and the clinic.

The site links to clinic websites and to sources such as health agencies and research. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Accuracy of profiles and guides

  • Clinics that join supply the information on their profiles and approve it before it goes live. Some profiles are built from public information before the practice joins, and say so.
  • Every clinic that joins must meet the listing requirements, whatever it pays. Meeting them isn’t a recommendation or a review of the care a clinic gives.
  • When a clinic joins, we check each dentist’s license with the licensing authority. We haven’t checked licenses on profiles built from public information. A license can change after we check it, so you may want to look it up yourself with the licensing authority.
  • We work to keep our guides accurate and cite our sources, but dental knowledge changes. We can’t promise that the site is complete, current or free of errors.

Using the site

Please don’t:

  • break the law, or use the site to mislead or harm others;
  • pretend to be a dentist, a clinic or another person, or send us false information in a clinic application;
  • try to get into parts of the site or our systems that aren’t public, or interfere with their security;
  • use automated tools in a way that overloads the site or gets around our security measures;
  • send spam or harmful code through the site or to our email address.

We may block access to the site for anyone who breaks these rules.

Content and trademarks

The guides, design and other content on this site belong to Vwellny, except clinic profile content, which belongs to the clinic that supplied it, and material from other sources, which belongs to its owners. The Vwellny name and logo are ours.

You may view, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use, and you may link to any page. Please ask us before you republish our guides.

Disclaimer

We provide the site as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about the site beyond what these terms say. That includes promises that it will always be available, free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, Vwellny isn’t liable for:

  • the care, advice, prices or conduct of any clinic or dentist, listed or not;
  • decisions you make based on information on the site;
  • content on other sites that we link to;
  • indirect or consequential losses, or loss of profits or data.

If we are found liable to you for anything else connected with the site, our total liability is limited to US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, or takes away rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.

Changes

We may change the site or these terms. When we change the terms, we will update this page and its effective date. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.

If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
